Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Lindsay Swain and I am the owner of  Schaffer
Photography.  Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember- I love
everything about it.  Photography has a way of capturing truth and revealing the true essence
of a person.  Photography has the power to reveal something amazing in the seemingly
ordinary.   I love how photography is able to capture intimate moments in time with just a simple
snapshot. These photographs keep these precious memories vividly alive, forever. It is this
passion I have for photography that has led me to want to share it with others, so I started my
own photography company and I am loving every minute of it!

And here's a little about me-  I am a proud Hokie, graduating from Virginia Tech with a
bachelors degree in Microbiology and Immunology. I absolutely love animals of all shapes and
sizes.  I also love throwing things on the potter's wheel, soccer and hockey.  I am a newly-wed,
having been married this past October to my wonderful husband and high school sweetheart,
Stephen. Stephen and I have 2 dogs named Gracie and Logan, both of which are spoiled and
loved beyond belief.  I am so excited to see what the future has to hold!
